Hélène Delalande was born in September 1983, in Caen. After completing her degree in art at l'Accademia di Brera de Milan, she started her vocal training with the CRR de Toulouse (in Anne Fondeville's class), where she obtained 1st prize for singing, and specialised in baroque style singing alongside teacher Jérôme Correas, at the département de Musique Ancienne de Toulouse. At the same time, she studied musicology at l'Université Toulouse-Mirail.
She then performed a recital in the Blue Room at the Croix-Baragnon de Toulouse. She went on to play Orpheus by Gluck at the Halle aux grains de Toulouse, during the Festival Classisco ; Il Tramonto by Respighi at the Saint-Pierre des Cuisines auditorium, led by Marc Bleuse, and then played Musicienne italienne in Bourgeois gentilhomme by Lully, conducted by Gilles Colliard.
She took part in CNIPAL’s production of Hänsel und Gretel by Engelbert Humperdinck in December 2010, both in Marseilles and Avignon, and in May 2011, in Mérignac directed by Nicola Berloffa. She played the role of the Hansel.
She auditioned for CNIPAL in June 2010, and resides there for the 2010-2011 season.
Hélène Delalande was a finalist in the Concours International de Chant de Marmande 2010.
