mezzo-soprano Yété Queiro focuses on lyrical singing. She studies at Levallois' Conservatory where she obtains a degree, then she obtains her prize with honors, in 2006, at Rueil Malmaison's CNR.
She then joins different companies like "Levallois Lyrique", as well as Opération with which she is doing her first steps on stage in various roles like Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro,Mozart), Mercedes (Carmen, Bizet), Dulcinée (Don Quichotte, Massenet), or again Dorabella (Cosi fan tutte, Mozart).
She meets J.F. Gassault who conducts her in a recital at Marigny Theater in Paris, then the conductor P. Kuentz who introduces her in sacred music and entrusts her with several works such as Mozart's Requiem Madeleine's church in Paris, Vivaldi's Gloria, in Bourges' cathedral, the Bach's Magnificat in Saint-Germain-des-Près' church or again the Pergolesi's Stabat Mater in Rennes' cathedral.
Her origins lead her towards Villa Lobos' works around which she creates a recital for the Brazilian Embassy in 2007, accompanied by the pianist P. Montag.
In 2008, she sings the roles of la Tasse chinoise and la Libellule in l'Enfant et les Sortilèges (Ravel), conducted by C. Diederich, at Levallois' Theater , then Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte (Mozart), with the orchestra Bel Arte (Conducted by R. Bourdarham). In oratorio, she sings the Bach's cantate n°11, conducted by P. Kuentz at Saint-Germain-des-Prés, then Vivaldi's Gloria with the Loir et Cher Orchestral band (Conducted by D. Baran).
In 2009, she sings her first role with Bizet's Djamileh, a main role that she sings at Scelle-Saint-Cloud, during Bougival's Festival; then she sings this again at Couvent des Minimes, in Pourrières.
In 2010, she plays another of Bizet's heroines, Carmen, at La Ciotat's Festival, at the Vienne's Antique Theater (Isère) and in châteaurenard, conducted by N. Bieri, who will conduct her in Rossini's Stabat Mater in Lyon, Frigolet and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.
She also obtains CNIPAL's prize at Marmande's International Singing Competition. She will study with CNIPAL for the 2009-2010 season.
In October 2009, she was hired by the Regional Orchestra of Cannes PACA to perform in a concert of airs and opera duets in Cannes and Marseille.
Later that month, she sang the mezzo part of Mozart's Requiem, in Paris, conducted by Paul KUENTZ.
In December, she was invited for a recital in Albi, performing a programme featuring works by Mozart, Verdi and Rossini.
In May, she was invited to perform the mezzo-soprano part of Mendelssohn's Elias at Marseille's Festival of Sacred Music.
In June, she took part in a lyrical production, M'aimez-vous bien, dedicated to works by Mozart ad Rossini (conducted by J-Louis Pichon), held by CNIPAL at Avignon Opera House (Avignon-Provence Lyrical Orchestra, conducted by J-Fr. Verdier) and Marseille Opera House (Philharmonic Orchestra of Marseille, conducted by Claude Schnitzler) as well as Mérignac Theatre.
Yete Queiroz performed le Stabat Mater by Pergolèse in July 2010 at l'Eglise de la Madeleine in Paris ; then the title role of Bizet's Djamileh at the Puorrières and Aubagne theatres; in November 2010 she could be seen in Vendôme performing Bach's The Magnificat, and again in Blois, in December 2010.
