French-American, Erminie Blondel is born in Palaiseau, in 1983. She starts her singing studies at 11 years old and four years later she debuts as a soloist, alongside Antoine Marguier. From Pergolèse to Gershwin, her repertoire grows, with a predilection for maid roles in Mozart (Susanna, Zerlina, Despina, Papagena, Serpetta...). She sings the Exultate Jubilate by Mozart,in 1999. The same year, she is given the New England Music Camp Honor Musician Award in the United States, for her performances in Brigadoon, Sunset Boulevard and West Side Story, in which she plays Maria.
In addition to her degree in philosophy, she studies singing at Geneva superior conservatory, with Maria Diaconnu, then Brigitte Balleys.
In 2005, she is Marie-Blanche in Les P'tites Michu of Messager, at Clermont-Ferrand opera house (Conductor : Jean-Louis Jam).
The same year, she joins Elisabeth Vidal and André Cognet's class, at de Rueil- Malmaison's CNR, where she gets a degree in 2007 and receives a First Prize in 2008. She then joins the OperAction troop, for the promotion of young lyrical artists and takes part in the recital of the association, as well as annual productions in France.
Then, she follows a masters in art of recital at La Sorbonne and improves her vocal technique with Leandro Lopez.
In 2007, the town of Rueil-Malmaison choses her as ambassador of a concert of French sacred music during the French spring in Letvia.
She then takes part in several concerts in Paris, with conductor Paul Kuentz. We can also hear her in the Magnificat by Bach, the Harmonie Messe by Haydn, Gloria, Beatus Vir, Lauda Jerusalem and Dixit by Vivaldi, the Te Deum by Charpentier, the Vesperae Solennes by Confessore and the Requiem by Mozart, as well as a selection of 'Ave Maria..
On stage, she is Cigarière and Frasquita (Carmen, by Bizet) ; she takes part at Monsieur Offenbach sortira ce soir, a OperAction production ; then the role of the first and the second cousin are given to her (La Périchole of Offenbach). Erminie then alternates between the first and the second Dame, as well as Papagena (La Flûte Enchantée, by Mozart), at Paris' gymnasium theater, and at Pope Palace in Avignonan Châtelet theater.
In April 2009, she passes CNIPAL's recruiting audition and studies with CNIPAL for the 2009-2010 season.
In October, Erminie Blondel will sing the soprano solo part of Mozart's Requiem in Paris, with conductor Paul Kuentz.
In December, she took part in a recital at Nice Opera House, in which she performed airs Offenbach.
In May 2010, as part of a series of recitals held by CNIPAL, she performed a programme of zarzuela and American musical comedy at Marseille, Toulon and Avignon opera houses.
In June, she took part in a lyrical production, M'aimez-vous bien, dedicated to works by Mozart ad Rossini (conducted by J-Louis Pichon), held by CNIPAL at Avignon Opera House (Avignon-Provence Lyrical Orchestra, conducted by J-Fr. Verdier) and Marseille Opera House (Philharmonic Orchestra of Marseille, conducted by Claude Schnitzler) as well as Mérignac Theatre.
